General Information

The Austrian Center for Documentation and Quality Assurance in Intensive Care, has been dedicated over 15 years to improve the care of critically ill patients. During this time we have achieved already a lot: The establishment of a documentation standard in all Austrian Intensive Care Units, the establishment of our national database for Intensive Care Medicine, the successful launch of our benchmarking program, the cooperation with federal and state governments in a variety of issues (eg Surveillance of Nosocomial Infections) and much more.

However - we are only at the beginning, there is still much to do!
